WELCOME

img_4672I’M NATHALIE!

I’m an artist and lover of life and its power to transform. I started this blog as a place to share my creative journey back to art, which in turn lead to the journey back to myself.

It has now evolved into my creative business and I am thrilled to see you here!

I am an Artist, Teacher, Creative Guide and Visual Storyteller.  Through words, colours, passion and intuition, I created a place to connect with you, who believes in living a vibrant creative life and in taking the steps every day to live your dreams, to heal, to inspire and to BE inspired.  As I grow, so does this site!

I believe that we owe it to ourselves to connect to our creative power.

Being art-full and playing for soul leads us back to ourselves, and back to each other.  It is my hope that this inspires you to channel your creative voice and turn life’s challenges into powerful allies for growth and positive transformation in your own life.

Over the last 6 years, I found my way back to that space of living freely, making art and writing from my Imaginal,  a land of inner-transformation and inspiration accessed through creative expression.  This is about spreading my wings and being what I love, creating and releasing my dreams into the world to inspire others to do the same; and more importantly, showing our children that, yes, it can and must be done.

I was sculpted by the land I grew up on, the clear water from the creek and the wind I could taste from my treetop adventures growing up in rural Ontario, Canada.  Nature, the rhythm of the seasons and the seasons of life supported my creativity.  Somewhere between the ages of 5 and 7, it was very clear that I would always be ME, an artist of the transformational kind and a storyteller.

It is my hope that this inspires you to live your vibrant self fully; in pigments, people and places!

Art to Heart,

  1. I love the idea of your blog, since I have been working on my creativity again. A few months ago I had read this quote online, “When emotionally depleted, creativity stops”. I realized at that point that I had been emotionally depleted, and had let all of my creativity go to the sidelines because I felt I didn’t have the energy to do the things I loved. Only in doing the things I loved did I regain the energy I needed to move forward in my life!

    • Thank you Florence, what a nice introduction! Too many people are walking around feeling depleted. Once we truly understand that NOT taking care of ourselves is no longer an option, our world changes. It takes courage to slow down, to heal, to really know ourselves in order to really love who we are. Congratulations on starting your blog. I look forward to discovering the details of your journey and the unraveling of your gifts!
